MEDIUM SETTING GROUT

M AND J SUPER GROUT

Description
Super Grout has specifically been designed for anchoring of roof bolts. The product is highly pumpable and contains expansion agents to prevent shrinkage while the product hardens. The high ph. level prevents the corrosion of steel and cable anchors

Principal uses

  • Full column grouting of mechanical long anchors

  • Starter bars, cables and anchor bars

  • Void filling in concrete

  • Tunnel applications

Advantages

  • Does not shrink

  • Adjustable consistency (thixotropic or flowable)

  • Zero bleed water

  • High bond strength to steel and concrete

  • Long pot life 3 hours

Workability
The product must be mixed with a suitable pump until desired consistency is achieved

Limitations
Please note that strengths depends on the water to powder ratio, less water will give higher strengths. Grout cannot be reworked by later addition of water

Optimal water powder ratio
20kg 8lt yield 15lt
10kg 4lt yield 7,5lt

Packaging
Super grout is available in 10kg or 20kg plastic lined polypropylene bags

Mixing instructions
Pre wet mixer, add required amount of water, start to mix and slowly add grout to the mixer, depending on the consistency required. Ensure no lumping occurs. Once desired consistency is achieved pump grout into hole. Ensure proper rinsing of the mixer and tools after use

Shelf Life & Storage

12 months when stored in a cool dry place, failure to comply with these recommendations will result in a reduction in shelf life

Safety & handling
