GEOBRUGG MESH

Geobrugg Mesh – is a Ø3 or 4mm steel wire, single twisted into meshes in the shape of rhomboids (Diamonds) that offer a great deal of flexibility in all directions.

The edges are single twisted and spun back on themselves to prevent unravelling (see Figure 1).

The Geobrugg Mesh is supplied in rolls of 35m long and 3.5m wide or m² as per customer requirement.

The mesh is connected together using the Connection Clip (Figure 2).

OSLO STRAPS

The Oslo Strap – is an aerial support strap consisting of 8mm or 10mm longitudinal rods spaced ±60mm apart and held in place by 6mm rods wrapped around the individual longitudinal rods every ±160mm.

The Oslo straps come in varying lengths and widths according to customer requirements.

The straps are installed in position with pre-tensioned, end anchored tendons and when used in conjunction with mesh offer confinement, aerial coverage and energy absorption to the rock mass.
